Project Overview
‘The Farmgate system combines smart tech, cameras and a physical barrier arm to deal directly with would-be thieves on any farm property. All three arms of defense work together seamlessly to put the farmer fully in control of who gets onto their property, and who doesn’t.
“The Farmgate system enables farmers to track every vehicle entering or exiting their property through our app. The barrier arm stays open for day-to-day workings such as milk tankers or farm vehicles. But if any vehicle isn’t recognized then the barrier comes down, the farmer is notified and can deal with it accordingly.”
What’s more, the Farmgate system is connected directly to the NZ Police stolen vehicle register, which means farmers are notified immediately if there’s a stolen vehicle in their area.’ (Source)
